Moustapha Akkad Passes Away

Moustapha Akkad passed away this past week. For those who love horror films you know who I am talking about when I only put his name on the screen. He is the man who has been along for the ride from day one in the Halloween series. He and his daughter were killed during the terrorist attacks on Amman and Jordan hotels, he and his daughter had been there for a wedding.

The attacks also claimed the lives of over 50 additonal people, I just wanted to make note of it here, since he has been an important part of the Halloween series and several additional films. He will be missed by all who love his work as will the other people we have lost in these cowardly terrorist attacks.
