Kiss Kiss Bang Bang opens today and we wanted to recap the reviews and whether or not this is a skip or miss for your wallet.

In "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang ", a breezy take on Shane Black’s trademark buddy action/comedy oeuvre, a petty thief (Downey) is brought to Los Angeles for an unlikely audition and finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation along with his high school dream girl (Monaghan) and a detective (Kilmer) who has been training him for his upcoming role.

Screenwriter Shane Black ("The Long Kiss Goodnight", the "Lethal Weapon" series) will make his directorial debut with the romantic thriller "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" , starring Val Kilmer ("Spartan", "Alexander"), Robert Downey Jr. ("Gothika", "The Singing Detective"), and Michelle Monaghan ("Constantine", "Boston Public").
