New BLADE is Chosen?

There are rumors running rampant that the new BLADE for the upcoming TV series has been chosen. Who is it you ask? Well according to AICN, its Kirk Jones the Rapper. He is right now on Over There the new FX show. The new Blade series is being developed by Marvel and New Line and at last word SPIKE tv was interested in getting the rights to it.

I just have one thing to say on this. There is only one Blade and its Wesley Snipes. If they want this to work they better go with a different time line or something that distinguishes this Blade from Wesley Snipes. Before you all freak out and call me an idiot I am referring to the original Blade and Blade 2. Blade Trinity was a complete piece of garbage.. I know..

I am all for the TV show and I for one hope it kicks some ass, if they work out a time line that explains this different BLADE and have some good writing and are not afraid to make it violent it will work!
