Resident Evil: Afterlife - Constantin and Davis reteaming

German Constantin Film and Samuel Hadida's Davis Films, who also did the previous "Resident Evil" movies together, are reteaming to produce "Resident Evil: Afterlife". According to THR this was announced Friday at the American Film Market.

Sony's Screen Gems will handle distribution for North America, Latin America, the U.K., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Portugal, South Africa, India and Pakistan. Summit Entertainment will take care of the remaining international territories.

There is no official storyline available, due to the fact that the movie still is in pre-production, but it's  said that "Afterlife" will be set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutant zombies and will play will play in the Nevada desert with the Aussie outback standing in for the American wasteland.
