Castlevania Movie Cometh!

Paul Anderson the master mind behind Alien vs Predator, yes I know I see you all snickering right now has a new project! Variety has reported that Steven Paul's Crystal Sky Pictures has recently bought the rights to Konami's "Castlevania" and has selected Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, AvP) to adapt the story, as well as to direct.

The film will focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity's last hope.

Production is slated to start in mid-2006 and as of yet, no casting has been set.
