Bubba Ho Tep Sequel is Dead! According to Cinematical at the NYC Horror Film Festival Don Coscarelli confirmed that the Bubba Ho-tep Sequel is not moving forward. Quote:

As for the rumored sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, Coscarelli stated that he would love to return to the story, and indicated that Bruce was “rarin’ to go again.” Unfortunately, the studio that funded Bubba Ho-Tep is no longer in existence, so money needs to be found elsewhere if a sequel is to ever happen.

Bubba Ho-Tep is one of the greatest new flicks of its time. In 20years we will be comparing it to Evil Dead, since it is in the same grain. It is a shame to hear the sequel is having trouble.
