Michael Keaton the Joker in Next Batman?

Michael Keaton was the best Batman in the franchise, at least until his dethroning with this summer's "Batman Begins". The word is now that he is going to be playing the Joker in the next Batman movie.

To me, it seems a bit odd to take somebody who played Batman and make him the Joker. The primary reason for me to say this is the distraction factor. If we know he's playing the Joker, the whole time I am going to be thinking "hey it's Batman as the Joker". They would be much better off in my opinion to cast an unknown as the Joker. Editors Update: According to Jett from BatmanonFilm this story is nothing but a bunch of crapola. No truth to it at all. I tend to go with him on it, since to me it makes no sense to make a previous Batman the Joker. Can you say confusion? Thanks to Jett for the update.
