Highlander 5 Shooting starts and cast update

The Highlander movies kicked ass, or at least the first two did. It pretty much went into the sewer at that point. According to adrianpaul.net the new movie also got its cast set. Besides Adrian Paul also Thekla Reuten, Jim Byrnes, Peter Wingfield, Cristian Solimeno, Thom Fell, Stephen Rahman Hughes and Stephen Wight will star in "Highlander: The Source".

The movie is being written by the same kind folks who brought us the TV series which I didnt watch. I find when movies go through a whack of sequels and end up on TV my interest is pretty limited. Christopher Lambert is not starring so no worries they are not going to bring him back and do a bad makeup job and pretend hes still 30. The movie starts filming in Lithuania on October 17th.

The movie is envisioned to be the first of three new films. "The Source" will tell the story of the Immortals as they quest to locate the Holy Grail of their world. The entire series of films will chronicle the origins of the Immortals.
