Waiting Director Scraps with Actor

Ok so yes I wasnt going to report on this since we dont get involved in personal issues of directors or actors but this one is kinda entertaining so I give in. Luis Guzman and Rob McKitrick got into a scrap and guess what kiddies, it was all caught on tape. Why you ask? Well according to Rob's Blog its because Luis Guzman is the shiznit and doesnt take direction from a first time director.

Rob was trying to give Guzman of all things.. direction, and Guzman snapped. Yes I know, who the hell does Rob think he is trying to direct the cast. Oh wait.. thats right hes the director.  Now in a good Hollywood cat fight you gotta ask who is telling the truth ? How do we know this isnt something Rob made up? Well we can always watch the video.  Remember kids, if your going to throw a huge hissy fit to make sure no cameras are turned on.

The whole thing is stupid, and childish but here is why I am posting this. According to another one of the actors this is just a big practical joke. Could this be a creative new way to get people talking about the movie? Well if it is, its a bad bad bad idea. The director comes across bad, the actor comes across bad and we all sit shaking our heads.

With that said, go read Rob's blog and then watch the video. If this is a prank I dont see how. Luis Guzman has been talking smack about Rob everywhere, including at the premiere of his own movie. Far from this building press it makes everyone look like they are in a 4th grade fight during recess. Rob made a kick ass movie according to our critics ( read one of the reviews ) who have said great things about it. Its a shame this is all being overlooked by a fight. If this is indeed a promotional tactic I gotta say its pretty damn sneaky because this really does seem like a legit fight to me. It did get us talking about the movie more and every other major news site, but I am not sure its gonna sell any tickets.

Update: Turns out this was a well schemed prank. I guess it kinda worked since everyone is talking about it. Problem is I will never believe another thing I read on Rob's blog. Good idea, Bad idea? You decide.
