More Halloween Remake Talk

Well this news has been all talk for going on 3 years now and nothing has happened. But now that the Weinsteins are splitting from Disney does that mean the project might come to fruition?

According to the New York Times, "Under the separation agreement between the Weinsteins and Disney, the brothers were given sequel rights to 15 franchise or potentially franchise projects, including a remake of John Carpenter's classic horror-movie "Halloween."

I'm not sure what to make of all this but it could be that they trashed that idea long ago and the Times just saw the project listed. Who knows? But we will keep you informed if anything else arises.
