Mia Farrow - Hangin with the Son of Satan

Over at Playbill, Harry Haun recently had a chance to speak to Mia Farrow (Rosemary's Baby), and she revealed that she will be joining both Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber, as part of the cast in the upcoming remake of The Omen, which is titled "The Omen 666."

She didn't reveal which role she will be playing.. but just having her in the film has cranked up my interest level a few notches. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters by 20th Century Fox on June 6, 2006.

John Moore ("Behind Enemy Lines", "Flight of the Phoenix") is directing this remake to the 1976 genre classic directed by Richard Donner. The script, that contemporizes the tale, is written by Dan McDermott. The original movie told the story of the the arrival of the Antichrist in the home of an unsuspecting family. Satan's son has arrived on Earth and he's not about to let human parents get in the way.

When U.S. diplomat Robert Thorn's wife Katherine's pregnancy ends in a stillbirth in a Rome hospital, he substitutes another baby, whose mother died. Little Damien thrives, but, at his fifth birthday party, his nanny mysteriously dies. Father Brennan also expires, after warning Thorn that he has adopted Lucifer's son.
