The Ghost Whisperer Draws a Crowd

Seems despite some nay sayers there is still a big draw for Jennifer Love Hewitt as her new CBS show the Ghost Whisperers really drew in a massive crowd its opening day. It aired and was the #1 show.. which is pretty darn impressive if you ask me. In the new series she plays a modern day ghost buster who has the ability to interact with the dead. Although no she does not have any cool ghost busting laser guns or traps. But she does have lots of sex appeal and a cast of equally attractive friends. Tonight you can watch a spiffy new episode called 'The Crossing'

After a train collides with a broken-down car on the train tracks, a young boy is accidentally killed inside the vehicle. Melinda helps the boy, who at first doesn't realize he is dead, reassure his mother that his death was not her fault. Check your local listings to see what time it plays in your area.

In Ghost Whisperers ever since she was a young girl, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt), has been able to see and talk to dead people--earth bound spirits who have yet to cross over to the other side and who seek her help in communicating and resolving unfinished business with the living.

Melinda sometimes has a hard time accepting her "gift," especially now that she's a newlywed and looking forward to starting her new life with her husband, Jim Clancy (David Conrad), a paramedic.

Her friend and business partner in the antique store, Andrea Moreno (Aisha Tyler), is fascinated by Melinda's talent. Although Melinda embraces her unique "abilities" as a blessing and sometimes a curse, she always helps her clients--alive or dead--find emotional closure.
