Zhang Ziyi the star from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is rumored to have one the title role in Memoirs of a Geisha. This film is being produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Rob Marshall.

She had the following to say about the film, "It will be the most important film in my life. I think the pressure will cause me to lose a few kilograms, but I am so excited".

Right now this is purely specualtion. She could be still negotiating for the role with Spielberg or pushing to win the role over other Asian actresses.
