Inglorious Bastards a Mini Series?

Posted by: Michael

Brad dropped us a line to let us know that he recently ran into Michael Madsen at a book signing and asked him about the upcoming Quentin Tarantino flick Inglorious Bastards. According to Brad, the movie is going to be a series now. Michael Madsen is reporting the final ended up being a 6 hour script and wouldn't work in theatres. Interesting. Un-verified, of course, but thanks for the scoop Brad!

As you will recall, Tarantino wanted to cast Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold in his upcoming flick... good luck with that one Tarantino, lol. Anyway, earlier TheArnoldFans.com quoted Tarantino as saying :

"I've said it once and I am going to say it again. I want Bruce, Sly and Arnold for my World War II epic. I have always dream of having these 3 superstars together in a movie.

Initially Inglorious Bastards was suppose to be in production way back in 1998 with these casts but I shifted my attention on my other projects such as Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction and Sin City. And right now I think it's the best time to have them.

I am very well free right now to focus on this big project that I have had in mind for quite a number of years," said Tarantino, "I am very well getting this into production this year for a 2006 release".

If Tarantino really said that is unknown, but I'm sure if it's not we will hear from the guy real soon.
