Freddy Vs Jason 2: Robert Englund On Board?

Well this morning  I woke up to an email that was quite interesting. A person "in the know" dropped us a line to let us know that Freddy Vs Jason 2 is a go, and that Robert Englund has been cast as Freddy.

There apparently is no word on who will play Jason, and no director has been signed yet. The filming date has also not been set.

So let us recap. The word is Robert Englund is on board, and that's about it. A cool scoop, un-verified of course, but if this holds true to our past Freddy vs Jason 2 scoops, it could hold water. Stay tuned for more, friends!
