Adrien Brody talks King Kong Movie!

Adrien brody is apparently quite eager to play Jack Driscoll in the upcoming King Kong movie directed by Peter Jackson from LOTR Fame.

Adrien Brody told SCI FI WIRE

"Well, for once I get to be, first of all, this action hero and the guy who gets the girl, in a sense. It's a fantastic journey. It's basically the guy who becomes the man that he wants to be."

Jack Black and Naomi Watts are also lined up to appear in this King Kong Movie Remake. Naomi Watts plays damsel in distress Ann Darrow, and Black plays showman, Carl Denham, in the King Kong Remake movie.

Adrien brody when asked about his character Jack Driscoll said:

(Jack Driscoll) "aspires to be that person who takes charge and goes for it, and I think a lot of people, for whatever reason, can't quite do that or take those steps. I'm a huge fan of Peter Jackson. He's mastered, he and his own company, the art of special effects. And although that will be a big part of it, I think their focus will be on the dramatic side as well."

Adrien Brody will next be seen in M. Night Shyamalan's supernatural thriller The Village, July 30th. King Kong will begin filming later this summer, with Universal Pictures aiming for a a Dec. 12, 2005, release date for the giant ape.
