Could Halo be Doomed?

HALO, Microsoft and Bugie's little baby, is about to get molested. According to the imdb, Uwe Boll is listed as the director of this upcoming feature. You might be familiar with some of his poorly made adaptations, like HOUSE OF THE DEAD and ALONE IN THE DARK, as well as his upcoming possible disasters BLOODRAYNE, HUNTER: THE RECKONING, FEAR EFFECT, and FAR CRY.

For what he has brought to the gaming community, the adaptations have been far below par (this is, of course, my own opinion). As of this moment, it is only rumor although it is on the imdb. No sources can confirm the legitimateness of these new reports, and with his plate as full as it is, I for one hope it is just madness.

Editors Update: Steve was nice enough to drop us a line and go holy shnikes is this a bunch of horse poo poo. And as Solstic pointed out, he kinda knew it would be. No way HALO was going to get Uwe to direct, but it was still a fun news item to get all the HALO fans locked, loaded, and ready for a riot. The writer of HALO says:

"Nope. Absolutely not true. Trust me, when we've got something big to announce about the film (such as the director), we won't just be sneaking it onto IMDB."
