Liev Schreiber talks Omen 666

Liev Schreiber is set to star in the upcoming "Omen 666" film filling Gregory Pecks shoes as Robert Thorn, the father of the anti christ. You will probably remember him best in his role of Cotton Weary in the Scream franchise. Now he is back to the genre and he recently talked to Moviehole about how much he worked on the script:

Little bits and bobs little bits and bobs. It was an important to us to bring it forward and to make it contemporary and I think that John Moore the director felt that there were a lot of interesting parallels now between all of the natural disasters and catastrophes that are happening in the world these days and the kind of sequence of events that signified the coming of the anti Christ and I think he might have a point. Hopefully he means he has a good feeling about the movie and not the coming of the anit christ. Liev Schreiber will be joined by Julia Stiles who will be playing Katherine Thorn. John Moore will be shooting the film with an expected release date of June 6th, 2006. Yes, 6/6/06...
