Keanu Reeves talks Constantine Sequel

Well it seem that the chances for a sequel to "Constantine" are not that high. Allthough the movie made over US$ 229 million worldwide with a budget of about US$ 100 million, Keanu Reeves told our colleagues from SuperheroHype that he isn't sure if a sequel will happen.

The actor said:

"I would do that in a second," but then he added "They're producers, so they have to be optimistic. It's not up to me, man. It's up to whomever wants to provide the resources to make that movie. I don't think Warner Bros. is going to do it. I don't think it makes fiscal sense for them, because they don't feel it will make money."

Based on the DC/Vertigo comic book Hellblazer and written by Kevin Brodbin, Mark Bomback and Frank Capello, "Constantine" tells the story of irreverent supernatural detective John Constantine (Reeves), who has literally been to hell and back.
