The first pic of Petersen's Poseidon !

Our colleagues from Movieweb scored 2 exclusive images for Wolfgang Petersen's upcoming "Poseidon". And i have to say that the ship looks very cool. Petersen brings the story to the present day, and if everything if as nice as this ship, it will be a great movie. The original film follows ten survivors as they struggle to escape from an ocean liner capsized by a tidal wave.

In the new version Kurt Russell is playing an ex-fireman and mayor who is traveling with his daughter (Emmy Rossum) and her boyfriend (Mike Vogel). Richard Dreyfuss plays a gay man whose relationship breaks up just before departure.
