Blues Brothers Special Edition DVD Premier

Recently there was a private screening and semi-public showing of the new Blues Brothers DVD. Realizing many could not attento see what John Landis and Dan Ackroyd had to say we have posted some clips for your viewing pleasure. So enjoy!

Clip 1  : At an event Monday night celebrating the 25th Anniversary DVD release of Blues Brothers, Director John Landis is pictured with James Brown on the arrival line at the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA. In one of the most wide-reaching DVD launch events in history, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Hollywood's Master Storytellers held a Blues Brothers Q & A with the film's director and stars that was presented live via satellite to over 80 Regal Theater locations across the country. 

Clip 2: John Landis and James Brown joins Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Hollywood's Master Storytellers to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Blues Brothers and the release of the Anniversary Edition DVD on August 30th. In one of the most wide-reaching DVD launch events in history, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Hollywood's Master Storytellers held a Blues Brothers Q & A with the film's director and stars that was presented live via satellite to over 80 Regal Theater locations across the country. 

Clip 3 : In Hollywood on Monday, Director John Landis answers a question as co-writer and star Dan Aykroyd looks on via satellite from Toronto. The event, hosted by Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Hollywood Master Storytellers coincides with the August 30th DVD release of The Blues Brothers Anniversary Edition DVD.  Additional panelists include cast members James Brown, Steve Cropper, Henry Gibson, and former Universal Studios head of production Thom Mount. 

Clip 4 : Audience members at the Blues Brothers 25th Anniversary DVD launch event, get into the Blues Brothers spirit with signature fedoras, sunglasses and ties. The audience, at the Mann Chinese theater in Hollywood, were in attendance to watch a Q & A with Blues Brothers talent and filmmakers including Director John Landis, music legend James Brown, and star and co-writer Dan Aykroyd.
