Steve Carell in Bruce Almighty Sequel?

Bruce Almighty star Jim Carrey it seems has gotten his high paid ass kicked off the sequel. Who what? Carrey rocks i dont care what anybody says. According to Variety he is out and the new lead is Steve Carell who is killing in the box office with the 40 year old virgin.

Carell is damn hilarious and I can see him pulling off a part like this. No word if Morgan Freeman will come back to play God again but it would certainly add some credibility to the sequel if he does. If this turns out to be true its probably best for Jim Carrey, go work on a new film buddy.. you got oodles of talent! Let others do your sequels.
