Does Jessica Alba Dream of Jeanie?

Jessica Alba might star in the film version of the classic Barbra Eden sitcom I Dream of Jeannie opposite Jimmy Fallon. Is that why she might pass on Fantastic Four 2 (Reported by Michael check it here )

That would be the second Jessica associated with the film, original reports indicated pop singer-turned-actress Jessica Simpson had been linked to the role back in 2003. Other known leading ladies that had been briefly associated with the role were Lindsay Lohan and Kate Hudson.

An Ananova news report, which fails to cite a source, claims that Alba and Fallon will star in the film.The site adds also mentions that Alba has "decided not to join" the Fantastic Four sequel. But given that this news report isn't backed up by a reliable source, we can't vouch for the accuracy of the report. MO will make sure to keep an eye on the status and keep you all informed.

Currently "Bend It Like Beckham" director Gurinder Chadha has been in talks to direct the Jeannie flick, but as of now nothing official has been announced.

Now i might be asking too much here, but did anyone in Hollywood see the returns for Bewitched? I think I read somewhere it had a budget of $85 million and only made $62 million domestically. Now I know that DVD sales will help bridge that gap and some of the overseas folks that did not pirate the film will check it out also. But can Hollywood honestly think this is a success? That is the only thing I can figure since they are obviously looking to open more old school sitcoms and put them on the big screen. Cause I checked the imdb and it is showing as a film, but to lead to more confusion it lists Kate as the lead. Well fear not. we will get to the bottom of this soon movie fans.
