IMDB Alters Day of the Dead Contagium Listing?

Actually the removal of George A. Romero name from the credits at the IMDB wasn't any action by Taurus or the website, believe it or not it was done by the members of the message boards at IMDB, they petitioned the IMDB for the removal of it, stating that George had nothing to do with the film.

Though Taurus indeed wanted it on there, twice now these "george fans" have done this, and I've actually debated having the listing removed completely as a direct result.

I mean we, the individuals involved in releasing this film, not myself but the folks who I create the site for, have repeatedly asked them to leave the credit to George for the original story, have been over written, by so called fans who have absolutely no idea what is the truth or not, and you can see this by the multiple posts of misinformation on that "board", amaziing isn't it, that The film makers own credits can be removed by fans ??

I find it disturbing that a movies credits can so easily be "altered" without any input from the company making the movie. With that said I want to play devils advocate. Although I have always looked at the listing as CREDIT where credit is due to George who wrote the original. I can see how you can take it as a "cash in". Putting Romero's name on the film to add that extra draw.

From my dealings with Taurus they have never plugged the film as being by Romero, or even mentioned him in any conversations. When I first approached them it was always "Day of the Dead Contagium" a new story, not a continuation of Romero's work.
