IMDB Alters Day of the Dead Contagium Listing?Posted by:We have been debating this new film and the fact it had George Romero listed in the credits on our boards for awhile now. Recently Romeros name was REMOVED as one of the credits in the film listing. I thought this was odd, and the work of the film makers, turns out that is not the case. The webmaster for the official site posted the following on our site earlier today.
I find it disturbing that a movies credits can so easily be "altered" without any input from the company making the movie. With that said I want to play devils advocate. Although I have always looked at the listing as CREDIT where credit is due to George who wrote the original. I can see how you can take it as a "cash in". Putting Romero's name on the film to add that extra draw. From my dealings with Taurus they have never plugged the film as being by Romero, or even mentioned him in any conversations. When I first approached them it was always "Day of the Dead Contagium" a new story, not a continuation of Romero's work. What do you think? Get in on the discussion right here and share your views. Please remember we dont tolerate childish rantings or flaming. So keep your points to the point and present them maturely.
