New Supernatural Movie : The Covenant

A new supernatural thriller is on the rise, The Covenant. It has been given the green light and is heading quickly into production. Renny Harlin (The Long Kiss Goodnight, Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea), who filled in to re-tool the recent supernatural disaster Exorcist: The Beginning, has been chosen to helm The Covenant. Production is scheduled to begin in Montréal on October 4th.

The Covenant will star - Sebastian Stan( Currently filming All Fall Down), Steven Strait (of Undiscovered and Sky High), Toby Hemingway (Indio, USA) and Chace Crawford ( I can not find any previous movies for this actor)- Most of these Actors are fairly unknown. They will play student at a prep school. The plot is said to involve a mysterious stranger, further details at this point are sketchy at this point.

The release of The Covenant may or may not receive a wide theatrical release. Producer Clint Culpepper has no major motion pictures under his belt yet, so this might well end up being a straight-to-DVD movie. This is only the first of reports I could find on this upcoming supernatural thriller. We will keep you updates as this progress.
