Ben Affleck Drops out of Disneys Glory Road

Ben Affleck from Gigli fame(if you can call it that) has pulled out of Disneys upcoming film Glory Road. The film is apparently only weeks away from being shot and this news comes forward.

 

The star of Gigli(yeah im gonna keep mentioning it) quit claiming their were scheduling problems. The movie is about Texas Western University coach Don Haskins, who led the first all-black college basketball team to the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) National championship in 1966.

Honestly the movie doesnt appeal to me so it doesnt matter to me whether he drops out or stays in. According to folks 'in the know' Affleck actually quit because they would only pay him $5million for the movie. He has nothing else slated so his 'committments' excuse doesnt pan out.

 

Affleck is planning to spend the rest of this year supporting John Kerry's bid for presidency and competing in poker championships. Dont you wish you could turn down 5million bucks to play poker?

Sweet Home Alabama heart-throb Josh Lucas is reportedly now in negotiations to replace Affleck as Haskins.
