Omen 666 - Damien Thorn cast?

According to our colleagues from AICN, Damien Thorn has been cast. Yesterday we reported that Liev Schreiber ("Scream", "The Sum of all Fears") and Julia Stiles ("The Bourne Identity") are in nagotiations to play the roles Gregory Peck and Lee Remick portrayed in the original movie, which was directed by Richard Donner.

Today it seems the Devil himself will look like.........Josh Hutcherson. And ? Does he look scary? Would you try to kill him? Not when looking at the pic to the right, but i can imagine that the correct lightening and a little make up will make this boy look like the biggest villain of all time. Remember that nothing has been officialy confirmed, so take this for what it is right now, a rumor.

John Moore ("Behind Enemy Lines", "Flight of the Phoenix") is directing this remake to the 1976 genre classic directed by Richard Donner. The script, that contemporizes the tale, is written by Dan McDermott.

The original movie told the story of the the arrival of the Antichrist in the home of an unsuspecting family. Satan's son has arrived on Earth and he's not about to let human parents get in the way. When U.S. diplomat Robert Thorn's wife Katherine's pregnancy ends in a stillbirth in a Rome hospital, he substitutes another baby, whose mother died.

Little Damien thrives, but, at his fifth birthday party, his nanny mysteriously dies. Also Father Brennan expires, after warning Thorn that he has adopted Lucifer's son.
