Chow Yun-Fat and Gong Li have an Autumn RemembrancePosted by: MacReadyVariety reports that Chow Yun-Fat ("Hardboiled", "Tiger and Dragon") and Gong Li ("Memoirs of a Geisha") have signed to star in "Autumn Remembrance", a drama that will be shot in China next February by director Zhang Yimou ("House of Flying Daggers"). Chow Yun-Fat and Gong Li will play star-crossed lovers who fall in love within the borders of a kingdom. Li plays Phoenix, an imperial bodyguard, while Yun-Fat will portray Prince Ping. Numerous forces, including Ping's stepmother, who is also in love with him, try to keep the lovers apart. It leads them on a dangerous journey where secrets of the royal family are uncovered. Gong Li also stars in "2046" which hits cinemas today, and Chow Yun-Fat can be seen in "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest" next year.
