Uwe Boll talks Dungeon Siege and more

Posted by: MacReady

Our buddies from ZombieNation had the chance to talk to Uwe Boll about his upcoming videogame adaptation "Dungeon Siege". The movie folls follows the journey of Farmer from simple family man to heroic prince. But they also talked about upcoming projects and much more.

Here is a clip from the interview:

ZN: Is it correct that Dungeon Siege has a 60 million dollar budget? How do you feel a larger budget will affect the film, will it make things easier for you or has it put more pressure on you to provide a sure fire hit?

Uwe Boll: So far the shoot is very relaxed. All actors are great and it is the best script I ever worked with.

DS also has quite a few well known names attached to it, hows it feel to work with people like Matthew Lillard, Ron Perlman, Burt Reynolds, Jason Statham and Kristina Loken (again), what benefits have they brought you and your film?

All the actors are fitting perfectly in the movie and the have names - so we get more money for the movie.

Video game to film productions have never had the best reputation, what do you say to those people who say film makers should look for fresh ideas instead of converting games to film?

My movies are fresh ideas. Look what the studios are doing nonstop: Remakes of old movies. Are this fresh ideas?
