Lionsgate Buys 300 + Flicks

Lionsgate is buying Modern Times Group and their 332 titles. Of course I am sure alot of you are now going , who cares? Well within those titles are some great flicks like Conan the Barbarian, and the Halloween franchise sequels. I mean come on.... just think of all the great re-releases we will get. Way better then remakes if you ask me.

As part of this deal Lions Gate also picked up Dirty Dancing( do you care? I dont) and are going to be releasing a new 20th anniversary edition in 2007. Dirty Dancing despite my not liking it was damn popular and has sold a million copies just last year... geeze.. cant say I blame em making up an anniversary edition.
