Transformers Truck Plate Stolen at Comic-Con

Have you seen the TRANSFORMERS Truckâ€™s license plate? That is the question being asked at Comicon, the Worldâ€™s largest comic book convention. The plate has been stolen twice from the TRANSFORMERS truck which now has extra security around it. Fans have been going to great lengths to steal the plate and the staff at Comicon has been unable to adequately secure the area.

Based on the "robots in disguise," the live-action Transformers movie will be directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon) whilst Steven Spielberg will act as executive producer. In 1984, the Transformers brand took the world by storm with its compelling saga of the "Robots in Disguise," and quickly became a childhood rite of passage with a tremendously successful toy line from Hasbro and Takara, comic book series, television program and animated feature film.

Twenty years later, a new generation of kids has discovered the excitement of the Transformers brand and the legendary characters, such as Optimus Prime and Megatron, that truly are "more than meets the eye."

Transformers is being scheduled for release from Paramount and Dreamworks July 4th 2007.
