Jordana Brewster starring in Texas Chainsaw Prequel

According to MovieWeb Jordana Brewster ("The Fast and the Furious") is confirmed to play the lead in the Texas Chainsaw Masscare Prequel. Jonathan Liebesman is going back in time,  to direct the untitled "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" prequel that Platinum Dunes is producing for New Line Cinema.

Of course we all know that Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing via Platinum Dunes. I guess we can all expect alot of gore and some guy with a human skin mask.

The story will go back to his roots to explain why he turned out the way he did. Which sort of ruins the mystery of the character if you ask me. But than again this isn't even the Sawyer we all know and love but a character developed by Bay and company.
