Over at News Askew the following rumor was posted:

An interesting rumor has surfaced that Eliza Dushku, who read for the Mary Jane part in Spidey, might return in the third film as The Black Cat. Just a rumor, folks, but a neat one at that.

This would make a great element for the next film. Unfortunately it would set up for a nasty love triangle. All I have to say if this does happen is, "DAMN YOU TOBEY MAGUIRE! DAMN YOU!!!".. Ok I'm done..
