New Pics of the ROCK from DOOM

Our good friend Wilson from BlackFilm dropped us a line to let us know that new pictures of The Rock in DOOM have popped online. My understanding was his role will only be a small cameo ( which is a shame ) but we did find 2 great pics of him packing some bad ass weapons.

The story centers around scientists at a facility owned by the UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation).They experiment with teleportation. As always something goes terribly wrong and they open a portal to an unknown place.

Of course there is one main hero that can save the day: John Grimm, a Marine who is nicknamed "Reaper" (played by Karl Urban) and gets teleported into a command centre of a secret base on a remote planet along with his squad.

But the monsters aren't from hell, they are people mutated by some kind of virus. When dealing with the alien demons, Grimm is forced to cross paths with the organization responsible for his parents' deaths.

After Enda McCallion left the project for personal reasons, Andrzej Bartkowiak (who is know for directing movies like "Romeo must Die" and "Cradle 2 the Grave") signed up with Universal to direct the movie.
