We just uploaded the promo clip for Derek Franson's Smart Parts. The clip is over 4 minutes long and shows what can be done by indie filmmakers. I've seen by far worse CGI in much more expensive movies.

The film is about a small-time conman hiding out after a successful score faces a desperate struggle for survival when he discovers the storage warehouse chosen as a temporary hideout is also the secret home for a group of abandoned and forgotten military robots...
