New picture for DOOM

THX to our partners from Movie-Infos we now have a new picture for Andrzej Bartkowiak's upcoming adaptation of Doom. The game that made history is jumping from computer screens to the motion picture screen: get ready for Doom.
 
Set countless years in the future and told in the hyper- kinetic, kamikaze style that made its gaming predecessor a global phenomenon, the science fiction action adventure Doom takes the viewer to the far corners of the galaxy with a fully-realized vision of a dark and disturbing future.

When a Special Ops squadron answers a distress call from a science lab on the planet Olduvai, their investigation reveals that a series of mutant beings are systematically killing off the population there.

You can view all our Doom pics in our gallery here. After changing the release date with George Romero's Land of the Dead, the SciFi movie is scheduled to come to cinemas October 21st, 2005.
