Clive Owen in ultraviolent Shoot-Em-Up

Clive Owen hot off his role in Sin City it seems is ready to run back into an ultra-violent role. This time he will be in a movie written and directed by Michael Davis called "Shoot-Em-Up", for New Line Cinema. Production will start in January 2006.

Owen will play a mysterious man protecting a newborn baby from criminals out to kill it. Its said that set pieces include a shootout during a sex scene and another in the midst of a freefall.

The movie will be produced by Don Murphy through his AngryFilms shingleshingle along with partners Susan Montford and Rick Benattar. Cale Boyter and Jeff Katz are overseeing for New Line.

At the moment we dont know anything else about this film, but it sounds like it is going to be another dark film in the grain of Pulp Fiction and Sin City. Shoot-Em-Up is targeted for a holiday 2006 release.
