First we brought you an exclusive interview with Mungo Mckay when people were asking what the hell is undead? Then we interviewed Felicity Mason the lovely leading lady and now HorrorMovies.ca our diabolical, all be it semi-intelligent sisters have Rob Jenkins the third lead star in Undead. So without further ado here be ye interview that MovieMaven had with Rob Jenkins.
First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Mr. Jenkins.
That’s my pleasure. Thank you for requesting the interview.
Your film, Undead has grabbed a lot of attention here. Would you be so kind to give our readers a little taste of what it's about?
The film centers on a little town of Berkeley. Now it’s just a peaceful day like any other until meteorites start falling from the sky. What happens next is a bizarre turn of events.
A virus infects all of the towns’ folk, with the exception of a few locals including my character ‘Wayne’ who is the local town pilot. His pregnant girlfriend ‘Sally’. ‘Marion’ the local crazy gun hoarder, ‘Rene’ the current "Miss Catch of the Day Winner", ‘Harrison’ the closet homosexual police Sergent, and his Constable, ‘Molly’. Following the meteors is the rain and those wonderful mannered ZOMBIE’s. From here on in it’s all about survival and getting out of town.

It is currently sitting at number six out of over 2000 films on The Horror Movies Top 100? Our readers are eating it up. What are your thoughts about that?
Wow. At six, I didn’t know that. That’s really fantastic. I’m glad everybody likes it.
Give us some detailed insight into your character, 'Wayne' and the characters role in the movie.
Okay Wayne is the local charter pilot. He works for his Aunt, Aggie Whipple. He has a girlfriend ‘Sally’ whom he got pregnant one night after he’d taken her out for a joy flight. The joy flight along with the love making didn’t take long. In fact it took longer to start the engine on the plane and taxi 100metres to the runway.
But with that said, Wayne does love Sally, how much he’s still discovering. He’s not the type of guy you would think to call on for help in a high stress situation, but his ability to perform under pressure is very good, and by the half way point of the film you begin to see a much stronger can-do attitude from Wayne. He often speaks without thinking and due to this he’s seen as a bit of an idiot. Oh and he also has a secret crush on Rene the films lead female.
What attracted you to this role?
Initially it was the chance to work with Peter and Michael. I had known them for a short time and had seen some of their short films. I had said to them both on a few occasions that I wasn’t really interested in doing another Horror film, as I had done one years’ earlier, and I hadn’t had a great experience on it. But they sent me the script, and asked me to audition.
Once I read the script I knew that it was going to take something very special for them to pull it off. And I honestly believed in them and their abilities, plus I loved the script and the character of Wayne so I jumped at it.
