Lou Diamond Phillips and Daniel Millican are pairing to film "Bloodlines" in Dallas and surrounding areas. A Serendipitous Film, "Bloodlines" stars Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba, Young Guns, Courage Under Fire), Yancy Butler (Witchblade, Drop Zone), Tom Wright (Barbershop 1 and 2, Murder at 1600), Glenn Morshower (24, CSI, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor), and Jeff Speakman (The Perfect Weapon, The Gunman).

"Bloodlines" is in production, currently shooting in Fort Worth, Frisco, and Dallas, TX. Hometown favorite Lou Diamond Phillips stars as Eugene "Vash" Vasher. Vash and his highly specialized team are called upon to protect Billings, the CEO of a next generation weapons company. With a black op group breathing down their necks, Vash is surprised when a secondary attack comes from the inside. He must use all his skills to keep his client alive—a client he respects less and less.

This is the third feature film from Texas director Daniel Millican. His first two films were "Finding Redemption" (starring Adam Baldwin and shot in Dallas) and "The Gunman" (shot in Austin and starred Sean Patrick Flanery, Mimi Rogers, and Joey Lauren Adams). "Bloodlines is about personal agendas," Millican says. "Our hero finds that living for others is a better philosophy." Millican, who wrote the script this past winter and found independent financing for the film, adds, "Raising the money privately allows us to make the film the way we want to."

A long time supporter of regional filmmaking, Lou Diamond Phillips is happy to be working on a project in North Texas. States Phillips, "I came from the Texas film industry and I have long supported it. Through Bloodlines, I’m able to work with some old friends while putting my money where my mouth is to support film making at the regional level."

"We have assembled a first rate cast and crew who share an incredible amount of talent and respect, both off and on the set. This is a project that we are very proud of – and one that we can’t wait to release to the public," states Jeff Rodgers, "Bloodlines" producer.
