War of the Worlds Rated PG-13 !

Steven Spielbergs upcoming SciFi movie War of the Worlds has received its official rating. And i have to say, that i'm not surprised that it got a PG-13. Just take a look at the pic below to read the reasons for this rating.

This movie is a contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells seminal classic. The Sci Fi Adventure Thriller "War of the Worlds" reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it.
 
War of the Worlds, which features complex computer-generated visual effects, has been put on a very fast track, with only 10 weeks of preproduction. DreamWorks and Paramount are co-financing the movie.
 
Sources told the trade papers that the budget for the film could exceed $100 million. David Koepp wrote the script; Kathleen Kennedy and Paula Wagner are producing.
