New Japanese War of the Worlds Poster

Courtesy of Paramount we have your first look at the new Japanese poster for War of the Worlds. I gotta tell you I really dig it.

This movie is a contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells seminal classic. The Sci Fi Adventure Thriller "War of the Worlds" reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it.

 

War of the Worlds, which features complex computer-generated visual effects, has been put on a very fast track, with only 10 weeks of preproduction. DreamWorks and Paramount are co-financing the movie.

 

Sources told the trade papers that the budget for the film could exceed $100 million. David Koepp wrote the script; Kathleen Kennedy and Paula Wagner will produce. For videos, interviews and more visit the official website
