Edward Furlong plays Vampire HunterPosted by:Edward Furlong has signed on to star in Green Valley Entertainment's (GVE) vampire film Kiss of the Sun. "Kiss" is based on the short story "Virtual Day" from Antczak's critically acclaimed collection; Daydreams Undertaken. Set in Miami Beach; a young female vampire searching for her true identity in virtual reality tempts fate when she falls for vampire hunter intent on destroying her master.
Green Valley has also attached acclaimed short film & commercial director, Jon Hill to direct the South Beach set vampire thriller KISS OF THE SUN. Hill, who made a splash by winning the National 48-Hour Film Festival competition with his short, WHITE BITCH DOWN, which is being picked up by the Independent Film Channel, makes his feature debut with "Kiss". Also an award-winning commercial director, his previous collaboration with GVE was as the cinematographer on the award winning short film NO WITNESS. "Having worked side by side with Jon on a few projects now, I am convinced he is a true visionary," Valverde extols. "Everyone's been watching and waiting to see who will give Hill his first crack at directing a feature and we knew it had to be us," says GVE Writer-Producer, Steve Antczak. "He brings unbelievable energy to the project." Green Valley Entertainment has produced four films: " Losing Grace ( Lesley Ann Warren, Ronny Cox )," "No Witness " (Corey Feldman, Jeff Fahey), "Sex & Consequences" (Joan Severance, Corbin Bernsen), and "Fatwa" (Lauren Holly).
