Superman 5 : Justin Timberlake as Jimmy Olsen?

There have been reports that the popster has been approached to star as Jimmy Olsen. But his publicist, Ken Sunshine, who says Timberlake's in Japan promoting his album and hasn't seen the screenplay yet, wouldn't confirm which role the 'N Syncer was being pitched.

Anyone got any thoughts on this one? I am not going to put Justin down since I dont recall him ever doing any acting. Question is can we separate the singer from the actor. Interesting casting choice to say the least. Hit the forums to discuss it!
