New War of the Worlds Trailer online !

Moviefon uploaded the new Trailer for Steven Spielbergs upcoming War of the Worlds. This movie is a contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells seminal classic. The Sci Fi Adventure Thriller "War of the Worlds" reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it. Starring Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning and Tim Robbins, the movie comes to cinemas June 29th, 2005.

War of the Worlds, which features complex computer-generated visual effects, has been put on a very fast track, with only 10 weeks of preproduction. DreamWorks and Paramount are co-financing the movie. Sources told the trade papers that the budget for the film could exceed $100 million. David Koepp wrote the script; Kathleen Kennedy and Paula Wagner are producing.
