Tekken Movie Coming from SONY

A year ago Variety was rumbling about a Tekken movie and according to RopeofSilicone it is in the works now. Teeken is being brought to the big screen by Sony Screen Gems and Crystal Sky.  The budget is apparently 50 million and it is supposed to start shooting in the fall.

Tekken is basically Mortal Kombat. Which came first Tekken or Mortal Kombat? You got me. I am not sure about a movie, but we will have to wait to hear the synopsis first. Charles Stone is set to direct and write the movie.
