Witch Girls Tales Movie has been Cast!

The primary young characters have been cast for the Witch Girls Tales Movie. As you will recall from news we just posted Michalina Almindo is also in the running for a role in this film. You will all know her well enough since she is in the upcoming Tom Cruise / Steven Spielberg War of the Worlds creation.

Magna Graphix Productions are currently developing their award winning Witch Girls Tales comic book series into a movie. Auditions were held in three cities and accepted by video. From all the auditions, the main young characters have been cast for the movie. For the two cousins Janette and Annabelle Deville, Tiger Darrow and Brooke Horn have been cast. Their school rival Claudia DeSade will be played by Cayce Wright. As of this time, filming is set to start at the end of June. The adult cast members have not yet been finalized.

The Witch Girls Tales movie follows the adventures of Janette and Annabelle as they assist their Aunt Helena with preparations for her Halloween party. The party is the basis for judging to be the Halloween Witch. However, Helena’s rival Denora DeSade and Deacon Black and his Witch Hunters will make the contest a challenge. The movie is set to premiere Halloween 2006.
