Derrick Brenner in Eastwoods Flags of our Fathers?

I have a VERY close contact who has informed me that Derrick is being considered to play one of the leads in Clint Eastwood's next film Flags of Our Fathers.  And apparently, I've heard he doesn't even have an agent yet.  So isn't that sort of strange in Hollywood, to get an opportunity like that with no agent? 

But damn!  I think he's got something. : )  He acted in "Twelve Angry Men" here in Hollywood months ago (I saw him perform twice) and his character really jolted me.  I can't say that he was exactly sexy because his role was a reel jerk, yet he seemed like a good guy after the show.  Sincerely friendly and very human?  who knows?!  He didn't have a wedding ring on either... maybe he's still single?
