Hakeem is back with Hakeem's Guide to the May 6th Weekend. Not sure what to spend your peso's on in the theatres? Well worry not because Hakeem is here to corrupt your minds and get you to blow your dollars on the good stuff. Without further ado here is this weekends Movie Guide courtesy of Hakeem.

Here's what's coming out this weekend and # of Theatres
----------------

1- Kingdom of Heaven - 3216
2- House of Wax - 3111
3- Crash - 1864
4- Monster-in-Law - 916 (Sneak Previews on Sunday)

Kingdom of Heaven:
Ridley Scott is back with an epic drama about the Crusades starring Orlando Bloom, Eva Green (who was perfect in The Dreamers), Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson. The battles look great and the cast is impressive, and the fact that is a Ridley Scott movie makes it a must see. My review: ***Coming Soon***, read Parks Kingdom of Heaven Review

House of Wax:
Remaking classic horror movies is what's in these days and there's no way to stop it, so let's just accept them and enjoy them. House of Wax is a great horror movie that though it follows the classic rules of horror, succeeds pretty much in every field from the acting to the kills and gore and it's scary. A great cast of young talents from Elisha Cuthbert to Chad Michael Murray. And watching Paris Hilton die is awesome!. My review: House of Wax Movie Review

Crash: An ensemble drama about racist and predujist people in Los Angeles, Crash is Paul Haggis' follow up to Million Dollar Baby and his directorial debut. The cast which ranges from Don Cheadle to Sandra Bullock to Ludacris to name a few, is in a high class of acting and there are no errors. A brutal story, hard to watch at times and thought provoking, Crash is one of the best movies of the year so far (perhaps the best acted movie), and will probably one of the best of the year overall. My review: Crash Movie Review

Monster-in-Law: Jane Fonda is back after 15 years of not making any movies and she gives a very good performance as Jennifer Lopez's mother in law. Jennifer Lopez is also ok, as is Wanda Sykes who pops up every now and then for funny one line jokes as Fonda's assistant. While entertaining and funny at most, the movie is not very good and I would certainly not recommend it.
My review: ***Next Week***
