Rush Hour 3 is On!

According to Variety, Chris Tucker has just signed a $40 million contract with New Line to do two more films. Once the ink on his signature dries it will set in motion "Rush Hour 3" to begin shooting in late fall in Los Angeles and Paris.

After acquiring Tucker that will make a near $20 million pay day for Jackie Chan and $7 million for director Brett Ratner. That will greenlight the film which will be made for around $100 million. Jeff Nathanson will write the script. He was responsible for "Rush Hour 2" and just finished scripting "Indiana Jones 4".

Right now they are planning a release in Summer in 2006.
