Within the Shadow of the Tree Photos & Movie Update

The director of "Within the Shadow of the Tree", Carl Harrison, emailed to give us some updates on his indie Lord of the Rings film. Or so we are comparing it :) He also sent us a pile of photos which we added to the movie section. The story is of a little character named 'The Small One' who must try and put a spell right that was cast by his adopted father, a powerful Wizard, who was once the protector of the land of Marimdorph before his death.

The Wise Wizard thinking he was protecting the land planted a seed that grew into a gigantic tree, this he hoped would continue to radiate his goodness and magic across the land. The Wise One forgot about one thing the tree would cast a shadow and every day that the tree grew the shadow grew and every day the shadow grew evil grew beneath the ground on which it was cast. Not knowing the full extent of his Fathers mistake the Small One embarks on a perilous journey in this now hostile world filled with all manner of evil.

Carl tells us the following on his progress:

Within The Shadow Of The Tree: Dark Dreams is still in post production, it should be completed in about two to three weeks time, negotiations will then commence with distributors, a trailer will be completed in the next few days, it will however take a while to get the web page up and running. Within The Shadow of The Tree is A Mole Face Film Production made in conjunction with Northern Film & Media and One NorthEast.
